Seasonal Retail Associate – $15.00/hr – Paid Weekly!

Available Shifts:
Thursday to Saturday: Full coverage needed – shifts range from 11:00 AM to 9:30 PM

Most shifts during football weekends will run 6–8 hours, depending on availability
All team members must attend one onboarding session:
- Monday, August 18th 4pm-5pm

Job Overview – Seasonal Janitorial Associate

This is a temporary, part-time position to support the bookstore with high demand during football game weekends. You'll assist in ensuring a clean, sanitary, and safe environment in all assigned areas. This includes routine cleaning tasks, special projections, and responding to cleaning emergencies as needed/

What You’ll Do:

Sweep, mop, vacuum, and scrub floors in hallways, offices, restrooms, and other work areas
Clean and disinfect restrooms, replenishing supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper
Empty trash and recycling bins, and transport waste to designated areas
Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors
Dust and clean furniture, fixtures, vents, and equipment
Maintain cleaning equipment and report maintenance or repair needs
Ensure safe storage and proper labeling of cleaning supplies and chemicals
Follow all health and safety guidelines and company procedures
Respond promptly to urgent cleaning requests and spills

Physical Requirements:

Comfortable moving around the store for your entire shift
Able to stand for long periods
Frequent lifting of 25–50 lbs with or without reasonable accommodation
Occasional reaching, bending, stooping, and use of ladders

What You Bring:

Must be 18 years or older
Positive, energetic attitude with excellent communication skills
Strong customer service mindset and willingness to assist others
Basic math, keyboarding, and data entry skills
Flexible availability, especially during game weekends
Must be able to pass a background check
